Many successful people fail to realize that they are successful. They do not take stock of their successes and are constantly focusing on their failures. If you want to avoid this, you must reward yourself after every success, no matter how trivial. Did your team exceed their sales quota/ reward yourself with a fancy dinner. By celebrating your successes, you build a positive mind-set and improve your confidence.
REFUSE TO KEEP UP WITH THE JONESES
A major cause of low confidence is the desire to be like other people. Stop comparing yourself to others. Don’t place unnecessary pressure on yourself.
HAVE AN OVERALL VISION FOR YOUR LIFE
Besides setting a goal or two, it is important to create a compelling vision that would drive you in life. An overall vision that can help you in challenging times such that when you recall the vision, you would be driven to succeed in spite of the conditions.
